Just wanted to say that this product has really helped us. I think the effectiveness should depend on how serious your situation is, but we have a very old house that had a lot of cracks and holes that gave us a little mouse problem. It wasn't an infestation but every night we could hear a few mice in the walls behind and under our bed and running around our bedroom/living room. This is driving me insane! I could not sleep. I tried the exterminator but it didn't work as it just set traps that tricked the mice and sprinkled powder in them but it didn't work. So, out of desperation, I tried these. It took about a week for the noise to stop and for me to start resisting. However, after two weeks there was no more noise or evidence of the presence of mice. We have also closed all entrances so they cannot return. I know the reviews for this product weren't great but I have to say we don't have the spider anymore which is also noteworthy as we've had a lot of them! Unless you have a huge mouse problem or a huge house, this will work. We put them in every room. If you have a big mouse problem or you have a big house, they probably won't work for you.
