I initially bought this TV mount thinking it was made or licensed by Samsung. It's like just waiting for a new car at a dealership and thinking it's best for your kid. Well, it's a different brand and I think the listing intentionally hid that fact. The funny thing is that this is a very well made wall mount and I am completely happy with it. The mount is heavy and adjustable as much as possible. One part of the bracket screws into the wall studs, the other part consists of two rods that screw into the TV. The rods line up exactly with the TV's screw holes, and the included hardware lines up with those threads exactly. It looks like it was made for a TV - in this case it's Samsung's more expensive 50-inch Plasma from 2010. This mount is obviously designed to work with other (Samsung) TVs, since it comes with a huge range of fasteners and holes at various spacings. My TV weighs at least 50 pounds, but it was easy to "hang" thanks to the clever hook and rail design.
