I just wanted to start by saying, this coat for Jose is perfect! I have a 9lb. Chihuahua and was sort of unsure what size to get Jose. I ended up getting the medium which was clearly a little big on him and if he was to pee with this coat on it would most likely get wet because the belly section was to close. So i ended up buying the small and sending the Medium back in hopes that the small would do the trick. It did, it fits him perfectly with or without a dog harness underneath. Jose is in good shape and 9 lbs so hope this helps if your looking for the right size for your Chihuahua.
