Review on 📷 eufy Security Solo IndoorCam C24: 2K Wi-Fi Indoor Camera with AI, Night Vision & Two-Way Audio by Joe Jordan

I've given up trying to get this to work with HomeKit. There are actually two versions of this product, an older version with no HomeKit capability out of the box. This is the one I received. It doesn't have a HomeKit setup code, instead you need to set it up in the Eufy app and update your camera, then add it to the HomeKit app through the Eufy app itself. If you try to remove your camera from eufy, it will no longer work on HomeKit. That's "protected video" for you - I want it to go straight to HomeKit! Newer versions are said to have HomeKit codes so you can set these up directly in HomeKit without needing the eufy app. I didn't get any of them so I can't talk to him. I had so many problems with mine. The auto detect/alert features in HomeKit just didn't work and the camera would randomly turn off and I had to open it in the eufy app to get it working again. This is a bad product with a pretty cheap price. . If HomeKit is your goal, pay more for a native HomeKit camera.
