Communicate From Your Camera: Speak in real-time to anyone who passes via the camera’s built-in two-way audio. Smart Integration: Connect your IndoorCam to Apple HomeKit (download our HomeKit user guide in the product information section below), the Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa for complete control over your surveillance. Sight at Night: Advanced night vision allows you to keep an eye on any room, even in low light settings.

Does NOT support HomeKit natively

I've given up trying to get this to work with HomeKit. There are actually two versions of this product, an older version with no HomeKit capability out of the box. This is the one I received. It doesn't have a HomeKit setup code, instead you need to set it up in the Eufy app and update your camera, then add it to the HomeKit app through the Eufy app itself. If you try to remove your camera from eufy, it will no longer work on HomeKit. That's "protected video" for you - I want it to go straight…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Works great but there are a few annoyances

So far I really like this camera but I've noticed a few annoying moments. First, the stand is not removable. I wanted to try to mount it somewhere with limited space and was hoping I could remove the stand, but unfortunately that's not possible. This camera would be great if the stand was a little lower, removable, or just more adjustable. Second, it's great that you can turn it upside down and adjust the image to compensate, but unfortunately you can't adjust the image less than 180 degrees…

Warning: very questionable network in China

I bought this because it supports HomeKit Secure Video and that should mean I don't have to worry as much about device security. More than an hour online (HSV included). I see the device is using a DNS server in China instead of what I set for my network. This means that the device does not honor the settings provided by DHCP on your network. There is NO reason why this camera needs to override my network settings. Might block this in my firewall or just bring it back as I'm very skeptical of…

I wasn't impressed with the camera and the photo

I bought based on reviews that said it was a huge improvement over the Wyze V2 camera but that wasn't my experience. Video quality was slightly better on faces and when working with overexposure, but otherwise it looked the same as the Wyze V2, but with more sharpness and dark lines around objects and slightly colder colors. There were also a lot more artifacts than on Wyze. That sound quality was a huge improvement, but I wouldn't consider it a very important feature. Connecting to the cameras

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • There are flaws

Decent, but there are some software glitches.

A good quality camera that combined with my Nest camera showed excellent human alertness which was my main concern. I was currently pointing at the window and the performance was pretty good for the price. Pros: - Decent video quality - Micro SD/RTSP cards compatible - Fairly consistent AI detection - Decent app interface - Minimal latency - Homekit compatible for those in the Apple ecosystem Cons: - Camera stops continuous recording when internet connection is interrupted. This shouldn't be…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not sure

I bought this camera because it's cheap and supports Apple Homekit. The pros are that it has decent image quality, night vision works but is a bit grainy, and motion detection works at close range (around 10ft). The camera is relatively easy to set up via the Eufy app (Attack Surface 1), since personal data is required to set up the app. I also have a Eufy Floodlight camera. Viewing streams from both cameras is easy via the app and works seamlessly over Wi-Fi. Now the touching part. Since you…

DO NOT BUY: Not the best security system with various flaws

UPDATE (12/16/2020): I've had the system for about three months. Also bought internal cameras a few weeks after initial purchase. Still having issues but time has expired to initiate a refund. I have contacted Eufy support many times who have suggested various settings and system updates, but errors still occur even with various setup settings. The support team responds with the same apology that their technical team is working on issues. I thought these might be defective 2C cameras and wrote…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
