Review on Reptile Lighting Reptiles Amphibian Tanks(Black) by Kim Mills

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does actually emit UV rays (very little)

When I bought this lamp I was actually very hesitant because I saw a lot of reviews about how many lamps Revain has and how there is false advertising no UV rays. I bought it anyway because it was one of those inexpensive lamps that I could find good reviews about. I told myself it's better to have ultraviolet rays otherwise I'll return them. When I received it, I tested the lamp with an AirPod case (the white stars turn pink when in contact with UV rays. I don't have a card with a UV sensor, so I had to improvise). To my surprise, it actually has a small amount of UV because my AirPod case was VERY VERY slowly turning pink. I'm actually quite impressed that the lamps contain UV, so the small amount they emit doesn't bother me (I'll just take my turtles outside on a sunny day, but that's enough for now). I don't want to say that I recommend this bulb because I have no idea how long 3 bulbs last. But I can at least say that these bulbs emit UV rays... quite a bit. Edit: It's been a month now and my first lightbulb is still working great. no signs of metabolic bone disease :D
