At first glance I am very satisfied with these travel brushes. The brushes included a bamboo roller. The roll is folded just over 9 1/2" and under 2 1/2". Unfolded it is 9 inches wide. The seams are not horizontal on the inside, but this does not affect its use. I doubt I'll use it for street brushes. Let's get back to the brushes. According to reviewers, all brushes fit snugly in caps - both open and closed. There are three sizes: 4, 8, 12. They all have a good tip. #12 is less than 5 1/2 inches when closed. It is about 8 1/2 inches when open. I liked them at first and recommend them as a budget travel brush.
