This has become one of my children's favorite Christmas decorations. They love turning our minivan into a reindeer. We have used them two years in a row and left them for just over a month both times and they have not faded, ripped or fallen off. In the first year we didn't realize that they had to be attached to the window itself and stayed in place when rolled up, we put them on the door and when the door was opened it sometimes fell off. Then I noticed the other car had it installed on the windows and I moved ours and it fit perfectly and I no longer had to worry about it falling off when the door was open. The window does not leak when it rains. We put them on the front of the windows on our sliding doors because we keep the windows locked so the kids can't get them down and they don't get in the way or fall off when the driver needs to get out.
