Should get 3 1/2 stars but doesn't allow 1/2 stars. Easy to set up. Our machine is permanently installed in the joinery and yes, it reduces the amount of sawdust considerably. Ours is connected to our central dust collection system. That's why it doesn't get 5 stars. 1. When cutting at an angle of 40 degrees or more, the dust box on the saw is more inclined than the dust box receiving area. 2. Dust hangs in the bag and needs to be "knocked off the walls” so that it falls to the bottom of the bag to which the vacuum cleaner is attached. If you walk past the dust collection material without it working, you will get a dust cloud. 3. When working with large pieces of wood, when the saw is in the extreme front position in relation to the operator, dust gets into the upper part of the collector and overflow occurs. Overall, despite its shortcomings, this is a definite improvement over simply plugging an industrial vacuum into a miter saw's dust extraction port.
