I bought a house with ball bearing under spring latch system for a set of double doors. The blocks work but are noisy and have a very low voltage setting that you must apply to open or close the doors. A set of pantry doors that is used all the time was driving me insane with violent pulls, pushes and loud latch sounds. I bought a set of these as a sample; they worked great. Those pantry doors were only 18" panel doors so I put a new latch on the 3ft 0 double door and they worked too. The larger the door, the more likely the door will close quickly (as a kid I have no problem with this as it's a possibility and not the norm. I put on four sets and have a few minutes next time. Installation the locking system takes 5 minutes or less, the remaining X minutes is spent pulling out the old stuff.
