I bought these ClosetMaid Brackets to fix my broken ClosetMaid Shelf. The design of these braces is NOT the same as the old braces you may have at home. In fact, the brackets you receive do NOT match the picture on the box. To get them to work I had to bend the metal to fit around the wire shelf. They're also about an inch longer than the old brackets on the shelf I'm attaching. I ended up getting them to hold the shelf but I had to replace all the old brackets to adjust the length. Another problem is that the shelf is free to move up, so an empty shelf becomes very dangerous and can fall over if not careful. I ended up zip attaching each mount to make sure it would hold up. you have been warned
