. We upgraded seven year old Hampton Breeze ceiling fans with 75w E11 halogen bulbs with these units. The first light lasted 40 minutes due to the learning curve and the rest took about 15 minutes each. The magnets that attach the headlights to the fan frame work great when cleaning the old thermal insulation materials. The 4500K versions are nice and bright, but not dimmable. That's not a problem for us because we want the light to be bright when it's turned on. LED lights are easier to install if you remove the old lighting frame from the fan and install the LED light on a workbench.
