I ordered these to replace the 5W bulbs in my hallway chandelier. They work well and I like the look although the silicone flame isn't as long as the 5W. The lack of improved brightness may be due to the silicone covering the entire bulb, whereas on the original 5W bulbs the silicone started at the top and ended with a tail ("flame") at the top. These lamps are slightly larger than the original and this is normal. I like the look of the flame as it looks more like a real flame than the originals.
