Solid boots! in my opinion

I am very happy with this shoe. I am a tall male over 6ft and 200lbs plus. I am also a contractor and shoes are very important. Usually my job requires shoes with excellent non-slip soles and good wear resistance. In recent years I've seen an increasing number of contractors and contractors wearing branded walking shoes. I guess I've always wanted to buy something cheap if I'm just going to destroy them at work. However, this year I decided that I will do better! I bought these shoes after trying on several pairs of boots. I didn't mind spending $300 on a nice pair of boots. I have Asolo hiking shoes and they are well over $300 and I love how they feel on my feet but I can't justify destroying them at work. After trying on all the expensive boots I settled on these because I like the wider toe box. and they felt better than more expensive boots. So far I've had them for 3 weeks and I'm very satisfied and am considering buying another pair in a different color. I'll try them out on the track soon. I spoke to a local outdoor sales rep about these boots and have ridden them over 60 miles off road and he was very happy with them. Now I buy Topo. Definitely reminded me of those boots!

Pros
  • The spacious toe box allows room for the natural movement of the foot and provides additional comfort.
Cons
  • They have an odd fit and feel unnatural
