Depends on the color
I got this in green for my dirt and sun loving Beagle that often naps in the sunshine and 8 months later looks brand new. However as always I got pink for my girly dog that spends way less time outdoors as she is a people lover and will only go outside with an escort and yet her collar is completely bleached out. This is not specific to this brand I have found the pinks, purples and reds just don't last well so if this matters to you they are great collars just don't buy pink.
