Review on 💡 MEAN WELL NES-350-12 12V 350W UL Listed Switching Power Supply 110-240V by Chris Anderson

I have 25 security cameras all over my house. Instead of using the included separate "wall wart" type power supply, I used a centralized power supply in the attic. . I burned two cheaper Chinese copies of this power supply in less than two years, so I decided to spend a little more on this original. I wrote a five star review on my original purchase of this product (about 18 months ago) and it still stands strong. I recently added 14 electric shutters and a couple of irrigation controls and again instead of using their wall supplies I bought another of those 29A Mean Well supplies and it works fine. These consumables use much higher quality components than fakes. (Don't waste your time/money on fakes.) Update 7/9/20: And now I've bought a third of it. The first two continue to work perfectly despite being exposed to my usual 110F attic temperature. One of these 350W power supplies is enough to power all my cameras and blinds at the same time, but I only need three because I want each to be powered from different 120V inputs: 1. For mine 11 outdoor security cameras with 120V input through my UPS so they continue to work in the event of a power outage. 2. One second to power my shutters and watering equipment on 120V from the regular mains (no UPS needed and I don't want to unnecessarily drain the UPS battery). 3. And a third one for my 5 internal security cameras, also powered by a UPS but via a Vera Z-Wave controlled outlet that I use to protect the internal camera's privacy when I'm at home and turn it on, when I'm not there Initially I used five separate 12 volt outlets on the power panel for this, but as I was cleaning up my equipment in the attic I decided to invest in another of these Mean Well power supplies. Anyway, this is just an update to say I'm happy with my first two so far, which is why I've ordered a third. It was only delivered a few minutes ago so I add the power cord and head to the attic to use it.
