I've had this journal for a few months and it's exactly what I wanted. The spine rings are coated metal and holding up nicely to daily wear and tear. A clear matte plastic front and back cover keeps the whole thing nice. The dot grid pages are numbered, and there's 4 sheets in the front to create an index. the smaller size (approx 5.5Wx8.5H) is perfect for what I needed. I DO need to be mindful when I'm using markers so they don't bleed through, but it's not a problem with the average felt tip pen. I'll happily buy another to replace this one when it's full.
