I like the look (style and color) of these boots as well as their sturdy construction and double stitching. I find them comfortable with regular socks but there is room for thicker socks if I need them. I can tie a drawstring straight over the lace eyelets when I'm in the office and want tops to be loose, or I can quickly attach the top four hooks when I want to lace them up all the way in snowy or wet weather. . The tongue up to the top lace loop fits snugly to the boot to protect against water, which is a nice touch. They conform to ASTM F2413-17 (which is printed on the inside of the tongue) which is above the requirements for my job.
