Poor quality for the price

Bought for my friend who works in road construction. He started the season in April and they are already falling apart! Bad quality for the price.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Loved it until it broke after 2 months.

My husband is 15 feet tall and needs steel toe boots for work. We were looking for a decent pair and decided to try these on, he loved these boots. He thought he had found the perfect pair of boots until they broke just over 2 months after receiving them. We bought them on August 13, 2018 and today, October 21, 2018, discovered that the bottom of the right boot was literally cut in half near the steel toe cap.

Perfect Work Boots (13W)

These are by far my favorite work boots I have ever owned. And maybe it's because I don't want to spend more than $200 on Ariat, but that's it. The lighter color is shoes that are 2 years old, the darker color is new. They were the same color when I bought them. The inserts in them are rubbish so I buy inserts from Timberland or Aetrex. I have flat feet so I need support. Otherwise, these boots are very comfortable to stand on and ride on. I usually work 8-14 hour shifts depending on the day…

Adjust the need wonderfully!

My husband works in our city road station in the summer. His earlier boots had died a slow, painful death. When I mentioned this particular pair, he raved about the steel toe cap and water resistance. He normally wears a 13 narrow, but the average width was very good compared to others he tried. Yes they are great for the needs and hold up well!

  • An absolute legend

GREAT boots, FUN shipping

***THE ONLY REASON FOR 1 STAR = Absurdly long wait times for delivery (11 days on Prime!)*** The boots are great. Definitely high quality and you would expect to pay at least double for the quality of material used. The soles are amazing, real rubber that doesn't really slip. None of the foams most companies use will slip on a drop of water. Grommets are durable. The laces are about 3 inches longer on each side than I would have liked, but I just laced up my kevlar laces from my old boots and…

Really good boots! for men

Updated 1/21/20 these are still my everyday work boots and they are still in great condition. I really love these boots. It's a pity that there are bad reviews about their durability, I almost never bought them. I just received these so can't rate their durability but they are really good boots and fit great. They're really comfortable and as long as they help me get through the fall and winter I'll be happy. Update* I've been wearing these boots to work every day for almost 4 months now and…

Great personal investment, protect them

I rely on Cat work boots and FR clothing for comfort and safety. Keep them as clean as possible and for boots add Kiwi Neutral Paste, as Uncle Sam taught us well, on our leathers and you will prolong their use. 35+ years US Army, Law Enforcement, Lightweight Construction, Woodworking and Welding for a living

Pros
  • Even the elderly understand
Cons
  • No instructions

Happy with these work boots

I like the look (style and color) of these boots as well as their sturdy construction and double stitching. I find them comfortable with regular socks but there is room for thicker socks if I need them. I can tie a drawstring straight over the lace eyelets when I'm in the office and want tops to be loose, or I can quickly attach the top four hooks when I want to lace them up all the way in snowy or wet weather. . The tongue up to the top lace loop fits snugly to the boot to protect against…

Very disappointed Great in shoes

My husband originally liked these shoes, he is a truck driver and delivers door to door to two major fast food retail chains. However, he kept asking me to buy him new bows because he thought the bow was not doing well. The sole of the shoe became thinner and the heel worse. The company usually gives them a voucher for Red Wings shoes. However, someone advised him to try Caterpillar because they are better. Well, given how much we paid for these shoes and how quickly they wear out, I'm not…
