Review on 🧱 Motorcraft SP-515 Spark Plug - 1-Pack by Brian Krump

Revainrating 1 out of 5

5 out of 8 BAD! on parts

I have a 2006 Lariat F150 with 120,000 miles and I knew it was high time to put in new spark plugs, though the truck runs great. I bought a Lisle kit, an OTC 6918 (which I highly recommend, shot all 8 without breaking), these plugs and a set of Accel super coils for the stock setup. Using OTC I was able to successfully remove all 8, a very useful tool. I was pleased that everything came out and the new ones came back just as easily. I connected the coils, double checked everything and started. He barely worked and disappeared like crazy! Parked three times and the four checked everything. No change, barely runs. I was really upset and went online to see what the heck I was missing. At first I thought the coils were bad. I removed all the new ones and installed the old ones that I knew worked. Without change. I read online about carbon deposits in the spark plug hole and tried to clean it. In the meantime I kept getting codes for random misfires and sometimes specific cylinders. It took me some time to figure that out. Finally I decided to remove the new spark plugs and put the old ones back in. I started with the cylinders that turned out to be misfiring. Cleared the codes and tried again. It turned out that 5 out of the 8 plugs I received were bad. I have no idea why. Some actually came out of the box and just got lost when I got my package, maybe it has something to do with that. In any case, go to your local store to pick up a new set. I do not recommend these plugs, maybe it was just a delivery, but 5 out of 8 is not very good. *UPDATE* Bought 8 new Rotorcraft SP-515 connectors, installed them and they all work and the truck runs even better than before. Too bad so many came from evil amazons. Maybe it was just a delivery.
