It will happen! - 2012 Nissan Frontier (4x4 4 other cab)

A Nissan engineer who thought it was a good idea to use factory plastic fittings on the inlet and outlet of the heater core has to spend the rest of his life in a repair shop installing them for those , which have broken before, cracked and degraded when the cooling system heats up. If these two parts fail, there is no warning and there is a good chance that roadside bush repairs to get home will not last the journey home unless you are really close to home. I'm not a big fan of non-OEM parts, but in this case it was the right thing to do to solve this problem. Dorman got it right. Metal must be performed on both the inlet and outlet sides of the heater core. The two most common things I've read were correct about new parts. the clamping ring with the blue holder is actually useless. Throw it in the trash and use the old one. second thing. No matter how good or careful you are, the chances of blocking the exit side while fixing the entry side are very high. THIS IS SO FRAGILE. Save yourself a few days to wait for more details as I did NOT. and order both at the same time! The funny thing is, this doesn't really help anyone because if you're reading this, you probably already know that your device is broken, and it's more than likely that you've either ordered it or are about to order it. IT WORKS OUT . SIMPLY ORDER BOTH FROM THE START!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
