I was looking for a small freestanding gate to close off the section under my desk as our Chihuahuan "cave" when we leave. Honestly, I hate everything about these gates. If I hadn't thrown the box away, I would have sent it back. Where two panels are connected by hinges, the panels are not on the same plane where they meet. The gate is not made up of three equal panels that are an accordion. The middle section is the largest, while the other two panels are half the size and only fold in one direction. The material is chunky and cheap and I just don't like how it looks aesthetically. It's such a pain to use if you don't leave it in one place. Save your money and find something better.
