I'm getting old and anything that can save me a trip or three from the truck to the basement is appreciated. C-clamps can be used by trial and error and are often not very safe. Pictured is my 2016 Tundra front brake. The tool applies even pressure to the pistons, leaving just enough room for my hand to hold the plates in place and provide the resistance needed to engage the ratchet. As this is a "universal" tool I have not downgraded my rating as a piece of plywood must be used to underlay the plates enough to fully retract the pistons. The orange arrows were added by me to indicate the direction of the turn switch plate. High enough to suggest it will hold up with reasonable care. Good to know it's hanging on the wall for the next set of brakes.
