This charging station is great. They give you a free micro-usb cord but you have to supply your own outlet plug. Thankfully I have a zillion of these wallplugs thanks to tablets and phone I've had over the years. The batteries were not too difficult to install and placing the Xbox controllers on the charger itself was a breeze. It really wasn't complicated at all. When you first place these controllers, the red lit controller image will pop up on the charger. Looks pretty cool actually! Then it will turn green once it's all charged up. Definitely happy with this. Goodbye double AA batteries!
