Linksys says it's a USB print server. Maybe that. But neither their literature nor anything on their website tells you that this won't work with some printers. And not some weird brand. Canon printer. I have a Canon F80 that works great with a direct USB connection. But after 30 minutes with tech support, the tech decides to ask what kind of printer I have. Then it says the USB print server is not working with my printer according to their documentation. He then tells me I can BUY another WPS11 print server and it will work with the Canon F80. But they won't take away the PPS1UW print server ("It's not our policy"). Now I'm probably going to get sued for calling it what I really think, so I'll just settle for "false and misleading advertising". Save money and try another company that doesn't hide their product flaws and stands behind their products. If I hadn't already invested in a Linksys router (and a signal booster because the signal is terrible), I'd throw them out too. Anyway, I don't have $90.
