New case, same great photos, now with sound, great customer service

One of my previous companies included CCTV. So I'm good in setup and performance. I'm an old style user, round body, camera like in the second picture. The new style is edgy and architecturally friendlier, offering a more appealing look and feel to consumers. The last picture is what you see when you open the box for the first time. CONS: I noticed that the old round case seemed to have a stronger mount and the antenna had a knurled brass connection rather than a plastic one. A coated metal screw base is currently used. The new model's rod, which holds the camera to the wall/ceiling, tends to rotate on the base plate when pressure is applied in a circular motion. Maybe this will be changed in future versions. It is important to note that this does not appear to affect performance or the integrity of the installation. FOR 1. Nice clean camera view and configuration.2. Same HD picture quality with infrared night view3. Easy app configuration to view 1-4 cameras on your mobile phone or tablet.4. Excellent value for money and quality. Unbeatable price with the right quality. TIP: 1. If you try to follow the instructions during installation, note that the app mentions "blinking LEDs". This is not required unless the LAN is hardwired to the router (RJ45 connectors and cables). For clarification, the blinking amber/green LEDs are actually located on the LAN (RJ45) connector body and NOT on the camera itself, which may look different.2. With your phone or tablet, before proceeding with the setup and after setting the camera to the correct position and turning it on near the router or actual permanent location, I would set up your mobile phone or tablet WiFi for hunting (should be automatic ) for the new ID camera in your device's settings menu. Once this is found and you save this ID (can start with SP with a range of characters) setup and customization becomes much easier. Be careful to use 2.4GHz and NOT 5GHz which cannot be used.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
