Delta is the way to go.
We gutted our bathroom. We have selected all Delta shower components. It looks fantastic and works! It was a bit difficult to choose the valve box we needed as there are different ports for different needs. We made Pex because we needed the flexible tubing to run behind the horizontal vent pipe (why they built it that way who knows). TIP: If you are using PEX or going from 1/2" copper to shower PEX, don't make 1/2" copper to 1/2" PEX. Upgrade it to 3/4" PEX. Half an inch internal PEX measurements are actually less than half an inch. You will lose pressure if you don't use 3/4 inch. We are thrilled with how it turned out!
