I've been using a friend's Hypervolt for years and have always wanted one but couldn't afford it. After much internal discussion, I decided to give it a try. My rating is based on my knowledge of the best fascia gun on the market today compared to this one. First impression: good, but not outstanding. I'll explain - it's fairly quiet, not as quiet as a Hyper, but not overly aggressive. It doesn't have an on/off switch, so you'll have to go through all the power settings to turn it off. These are both negotiable and easily forgotten picky things. For functionality. It works well enough, but definitely lacks the power and intensity I've come to know and love on the Hyper. It's hard to describe, but if you've ever used Hyper, you know how it "pierces" the fascia. The power of this pistol leaves a lot to be desired. Am I going to send it back? No way! I have a feeling it's MUCH better than nothing. And for $80, not $350, I'll take it. My biggest question/concern for the future is durability. I haven't tested the battery life yet, but if the other reviews are true, there shouldn't be an issue. I will keep updating as I know many are looking for a comparable fascia gun.
