I've made over 30 lamps and I usually like these sets. I didn't use many silver ones and bought two this time. Both were well assembled until it was time to attach the final piece, the cardboard sleeve. For some reason, no matter how much I collected, the headlights stopped working with the scabbard. I was able to take it off and try the bulb and it worked fine. But once I attached the scabbard it didn't work. Again, I'm not exactly new to this and have had good luck with other creative kits. But after playing around with it for a few hours, I sent it back. Shame as I love the black set with screws and would love to see it in other colours. My favorite tools to work with are the black screw set and the antique gold set. But those silver ones definitely weren't good enough. I'll try their other silver design and see how it works.
