Review on Vantrue M2 2.5K Dual Mirror Dash Cam For Car, 1440P Front & Rear View Waterproof Backup Camera W/ Sony Night Vision, GPS, 24H Parking Mode & Assist - Supports 512G Max by Shane Wallace

I purchased vantrue's N2 Pro a few years ago and found it to be helpful while driving for Uber, but wanted an upgrade so I purchased the M2 Mirror dash cam with front and rear view camera. This product is definitely a huge upgrade - larger screen of front and rear camera, resolution up to 1440P, touch screen that allows switching between front and rear display, parking mode and collision detection with ability to lock and save video, among other features. The touch screen is very intuitive and allows me to adjust rear camera angle, very helpful if mounting camera on inside of vehicle and mounting angles are limited (though the kit does include mounting brackets as pictured - see minor complaint below). Reversing settings such as assist function and aid line make parking a breeze. Video playback does require some flipping through the manual but is functional and useful as needed in an vehicle accident/incident. Minor complaints include fixed mounting brackets which may interfere with homelink buttons on existing front mirror and in my case, the M2 doesn't fully cover the OEM mirror (as shown in picture). Also, the rear dash cam does fall off over time if you are mounting it from the inside using only the double sided sticker included. In my case this is because the wire gets slightly pulled up whenever my trunk opens. The kit does include mounting bracket with screws to bolt the mount into your car but I didn't want to put permanent holes in my car so extra double sided tape did the trick for me. Finally, I wish Vantrue would list the specific memory cards would work with the product other than their own cards, but this is their attempt to sell their own card so it's understandable. Great product overall and easier to install than I initially feared (there is enough wire to connect rear camera to front in any car, and excess wire can be stuffed in front side panel as pictured).
