This is better than expected. Our couch already has a few little knotty things built in to hold it in place, but they do a terrible job. As they are built into the legs I couldn't put these pads directly on the sofa legs, I had to put them over the tiny ledges and was afraid it wouldn't work. Well I'm happy to report that after about a month my sofa hasn't moved an inch since I put it on. I had to move one of the sections to find the list item under my couch and it was actually quite difficult to move it myself. We have brand new hardwood floors and when I moved a section there was no sign of those underlays so I'm definitely a fan of theirs and will be buying them again when we get our next sofa.
