This light is very bright. As others have said, even a little harsh. The description says "warm, soft light and pleasing to the eye" but I personally disagree. We actually blink when we walk past him in the middle of the night. But for small lighting, this is a good energy-saving LED light. Its pleasant, clear design suits any modern furnishing style. We find it too bright for our fairly large master bedroom, so we plug it in further down the hall and it still illuminates the entire main area enough to safely walk around when the lights are off. It would be perfect for a child's room. space as they can still see everything in the room OR for elderly people who need to move safely in the hallway.
