Elegant LED hallway night light with manual on/off switch. Its design allows access to a second socket without having to remove the light first. The light is white but with a slight warm tint. It's bright enough to illuminate the hallway so we don't have to turn on the overhead light in the evenings to navigate the hallway safely. I think it might be too bright to use as a night light in the bedroom if you want to sleep with it.

My 2 year old son doesn't like to sleep without a night light and it helped when the old one went out. I went the LED route because of the longevity and energy efficiency. It emits a bright white light, so if you're looking for a warm glow, this isn't for you. I needed a switch night light for our RV. So many night lights are now just motion sensors. Kind of stupid. Some people don't need light all night. I got it because I love using my iPad before bed. So I don't bother my husband. In addition, the LED lights of mobile homes are dazzling. It's so funny that they put in such bright LEDs. The plane could land with them. They blind you in bed! Either way, this night light is perfect. It's LED, but it has a good screen, so it's bright enough.

For some reason it is difficult to find night lights with a switch, usually they are always on in the dark or by a motion sensor. Our main bathroom is connected to our bedroom and when one person wants to use the vanity while the other is sleeping it is very bright. Thus this light gives us the opportunity to use this area without disturbing the sleeping person. Good. as others have reported - it's too bright for a night light. Glad it's a manual switch. So you can turn it off. I'm trying to find a place to put it that works for us. This light is very bright. As others have said, even a little harsh. The description says "warm, soft light and pleasing to the eye" but I personally disagree.
