When I was looking around, I wanted an unmonitored system I could hear a story up. Well, I can hear them one story up and on the other side of the house. They come with the small blue battery pictured and are stupid easy to install. I put them all up within thirty minutes and now I don't jump every time i hear a creak in the middle of the night.
