Review on Stainless Steel Woodworking Construction Protractor by Avanson by Andrew Griggs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best protractors I've ever used

I normally give four stars to products that meet my expectations. In my opinion you have to do your best to get five stars. Some time ago I ordered a cheaper angle finder from Revain, but it was made of plastic and that fact disappointed me. This angle finder is made of durable steel and looks great. The unit comes without a case of some sort, but has a small hole drilled in the end so it can be hung from a pegboard hook or similar. It comes with a small CR2032 battery installed in the device and an extra battery (see photo). The instructions are printed on a piece of paper in the package, but you won't need them, they're very easy to use. Upon opening, I loosened the dial and set it to forty-five degrees and compared it to a square and it was accurate. on the. I did the same with a 90 degree angle and again everything was perfect. If we talk about the dial, it's big and comfortable. The other angle viewfinder I have has a small dial and not only is it difficult to turn but also tends to change the angle a bit which you have found but not this product. It has weight and weight and steel rulers. are the reason for it; That is a good thing. The rulers have both imperial and metric measurements, which is very handy when you need millimeters for some work. The black ink used to mark the measurements has a deep and dark feel to it and I don't see any quality issues here. This is a really high quality product that deserves 5 stars.
