I don't know why, all the descriptions of this camera don't say "Uses SDHC, not included". I had to go to the Canon website to look through the information and find the information I needed. Other than that, very important information for me, this is a great little camera. It does everything I want to do with it and it makes it super easy. It's not a big, expensive, professional camera, but I didn't need it. Another thought by the way. It might not need to be said, but this is pretty much a right-handed camera. A left-handed person can probably use it, but it can be a bit awkward. It works fine for me
