This shirt has given me the confidence to look decent while losing the weight I gained from surgery. A girl recently told me that this shirt makes me look like I've done a lot of lifting (I've only run) and I'm pretty sure it's because this shirt improves my proportions. I have broad shoulders and I think the contraction makes them stand out. I can't wear my "big" shirts for a while because they're too tight for me. This shirt completely solved that problem and now almost my entire shirt wardrobe fits me the same as it did when I was in much better shape. Just two minor concerns: 1) If you have some fat on the outside of your breasts. Near your arms, the "muscular" shirt version will definitely push that out and make it stand out more, while the other parts push in. So in this case, it works better with a shirt that has room in the chest. I'm waiting for a few round neck versions and assume they don't have this problem. 2) Because the fabric is smooth, the pants tend to ride lower than when the belt was first put on. It still looks better than no shirt, of course, because you don't have the big belly to show off, but sometimes I wish I had braces. The shirt you wear over InstaSlim also sometimes clumps a bit unnaturally, but a slight tug won't fix anything. This is more of a problem with wide T-shirts than with tight ones. But not to end on a deceptively negative note, this shirt is great and I'm very glad I bought it. I wear it to every date, that's for sure.
