Root beer in development!

After the old can exploded (hey, strong root beer thing!) I wanted something with a safety valve. Thanks to all the reviewers who explained how to hold the rubber stopper - we dried the inside of the neck of the bottle before inserting the dry stopper and the stopper did not pop open, but maybe an eighth of an inch under pressure. And it still hasn't exploded - the yellow safety cap hasn't even exploded yet. Crossed fingers! (I left a jug in a bucket with a clean bin liner just in case - saved the kitchen last time)
