Review on Saucony πŸ‘Ÿ Men's Gray Black Sneakers by David Epps

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great shoes for mud but not for flat slippery surfaces like logs, roots or bridges.

Please note that these are actually men's shoes for sizing purposes. Don't let pink fool you. I have a few and have run Saucony for many, many years. This shoe is good when it's muddy outside and protects well from water. It's also abrasion resistant, but the stitching on my shoes started to unravel around the tongue after just two months of use. Surprising because Saucony's are usually good quality but mine must have been poor. I've done this on a hard 13 mile trail in wet/muddy conditions and on a singletrack. Shoes were shiny except for hard surface areas covered with water (rocks, roots, bridges, logs, etc.). I've eaten almost all of it several times. The tread is great but the treads are too far apart and the outsole under the tread is nothing but smooth plastic so the slip coefficient is quite high. I would only choose them for hiking or trail running where you don't have to deal with wet logs, rocks or other slippery hard surfaces.
