I needed a way to fill the 10 gallon water tank on my overhead solar water heater near the ceiling. This helped even though I was rocking vertically (± 6 feet). The fittings on either end are standard garden hose fittings (I used an inexpensive pair of hoses from a washing machine). We filled the tank in a few minutes. Keep in mind that it requires two hands to use, one holding the drill and the other holding the pump to keep the whole assembly from spinning. As a result, neither the inlet nor the outlet hose can be guided freely by hand. They either have to be fixed somehow or a second person is required for this function.
