The 7 1/2 pound bag is a little larger than usual but is handy. It stays fresh and comes in a very thick plastic bag. The top zip is easy to use and really keeps you fresh. The food is triangular in shape. I have the fish fusion recipe and it's not an unbearable fishy smell like some other brands I've bought in the past. It is free from gluten, vegetables and GMOs. There are various dried fruits and vegetables, which is interesting. It contains fruits and vegetables: tomatoes, carrots, broccoli, blueberries, pumpkins, pears, apples, bananas, cranberries, spinach, taurine, rosemary, turmeric, peppers, seaweed, muscle and parsley. Pretty interesting mix! I also can't imagine my cats eating these ingredients themselves. So it is obvious that the food masks the good taste. Some other reasons I appreciate this food is the pH balance which I find important. There is a helpful feeding guide on the back of the bag. It contains recommendations for feeding kittens, active cats and less active cats. I find it a bit strange. Of course, one of my cats is more active than the other, so portions are slightly different. I just don't point it out to them. Finally, I don't want my less active cat to feel embarrassed about her activity level. Active or not, cats love the taste of this food.
