I tested a 250 square foot, flat bottom, steel hull barge with this. Once you've calibrated it to your stuff (not hard) it's a pretty solid piece for a pretty cheap price. Before each use, make sure the batteries are fully charged, it seems that they are completely discharged after several hours of use.
