I have had this grinder for over 20 years. It worked great all along until I dropped it too many times (which has happened many times in 20 years) and a key piece of plastic broke off. The mill was still in excellent condition. So I bought a set of salt and pepper grinders to replace a more expensive salt grinder (of a different brand) that broke after 2 months. Now I see nice pink salt too. I don't feel like I can get the super powdered salt I sometimes like for finishing, but it's still pretty good. I hope they last as long as my first one. I get another pepper grinder as a gift because it suits any decor and also looks good with the 4 pepper mix I'm including as a gift. In addition, the price is fantastic.
