I've seen countless papermaking videos and online galleries full of gel printed projects. I really wanted one so I got this one and found it so exciting! I mostly use mine with acrylic and brier. Sometimes I put stencils on a painted press and paint a different color on them before printing them onto paper. The nice thing is that the press is very easy to clean with water and a damp cloth. The gel press naturally sticks to it a bit. This means that in most cases there will be some ink left on the press after cleaning. I don't waste time cleaning. It doesn't hurt the press and sometimes makes more interesting prints next time I decide to use it.
