Does its job!: my feedback

I used for several weeks after a back injury that made getting out of bed in the morning extremely painful. It worked like a charm during the night -- no leakage at all. The handle on the receptacle at the top of the tubing was a nice feature -- it allowed me to hook it on an slightly open drawer by my bedside making access very easy. One caution -- when the base is empty or containing minimal "fluid", the unit can be tipped over if the tube is pulled in the wrong direction. I remedied this by putting a little weight on the top of the receptacle (i.e., a crescent wrench placed on top of it) or by bracketing the receptacle with work boots. Problem solved!Daily rinsing with soap and water is a must, but is easy to do. In particular the tubing needs to be rinsed to remove residual fluid that remains even after gravity does its work.

Pros
  • Bedpans & Urinals
Cons
  • Heavy when full
