This set would make a great addition to your play kitchen if you are looking for play cookies with the added bonus of a count/number ID feature. It contains 11 plastic toys and 1 plastic cookie jar. I honestly bought this set because I just needed more cookies for my son to "bake" and we currently only have one cookie (from another learning resource set). While this set doesn't include all of the other "tools" for baking that other sets have (like a baking pan, rolling pin, etc.), it really doesn't take center stage and doesn't bother me because I have those items already . If you're looking for "backset" then you should look elsewhere. Although my son already knows how to distinguish numbers, he still has to learn how to count sets, so I'm glad I can use them for that too.
