So I believe it was made in some form that left a few marks on the ring with a bit more material than it should be. Another thing is that the ring is a little matte with minimal shine. Luckily this can be fixed with a wire brush. A light brushing of the ring surface should reveal the metal around the edges and bring the fine details of the ring to a shine similar to what is seen in the product image. In addition, the ring is a beautiful accessory, perfect for cosplay or everyday use. I am about to get the mark of the alien tattooed on my left arm and this ring will suit her perfectly for now.
