Review on πŸ”΄ Pendleton Motor Robe: Vintage Dress Stewart Blanket, 52x66 Inch Throw by Lisa Reed

Perfect for an old-style picnic

I've had my eye on this blanket for a long time, and now that it's summer picnic season again I've finally decided to go broke. The size is perfect for a picnic for four or a little nap on a cold day. It's medium weight, thinner than fleece and not as big or thick as the rugs you would use for a bed but slightly nicer/softer than the rug I bought in Scotland for a comparable price. The real highlight of this model was the leather strap, which made it easier to carry. Sure, you could get a cheaper polyester fleece blanket, and some I've seen even have similar nylon risers, but the appeal of the Pendleton version lies in its timelessness. I'm tired of picnics with styrofoam fridges and ugly plastic utensils. This blanket is used with a classic picnic hamper, real china plates and a vintage metal thermos when I want to have a picnic as appealing as the outdoors around me.
