The top coat was pretty good. It lasted and didn't go bad like my other sunscreen. But the bottom layer was just plastic. The lower layer began to disintegrate under the 4-month California sun. Some of the materials broke into small pieces that were actually very difficult to clean. To begin with, I would have folded the sign and put it in the car. But then I noticed tiny bits of plastic scattered about the seat and floor mat. To its credit it had 4 layers (or multiple layers) but all but the top one eventually failed. Once the bottom layer failed it exposed the inner layer which was a very thin foam (for insulation I believe). If they used a piece of cloth instead of plastic it would work much better. At that point I couldn't really use it, but I didn't want to throw it away. How to save it.
