This pump does not allow the use of a factory Volvo mounting bracket, so it cannot be properly refitted to the engine. Also, the return hose connector is pointing in the exact opposite direction of where it should be. It is advertised as a direct replacement, the packaging says it "fits" most Volvo and Mercruiser vehicles. Don't buy this on a mid 90's Volvo 5.0, it won't work. Good paper weight!
